Operating principle

The infrared rays of the thermal part is gathered by the glass lens of the hot metal detector and received by the photoelectric device. If the energy exceeds the minimum set value of the photoelectric device, the detector outputs the switching amount.

 

Feature

Hot metal detector is mainly used in metallurgical production, and plays a role in detecting the position of red hot billet. The detector outputs the control signal of red hot billet in place.

The detector is mainly divided into: ordinary type, scanning type, optical fiber type

The detection Angle can be divided into cone Angle, bar Angle and scanning Angle.
